*-The airdates for GAGSeries2 and GAGSeries3 are just a speculation. I'm not entirely too sure of the exact dates.
All the date and channel information came from the Washington Post archives. I microfiched all the details at the library. The GAGSeries listings do not have an exact date, because it is practically impossible to find out that information.
CHARM preempted Tom & Jerry, MLP preempted Inspector Gadget, and the GAGPilot, both CBSpecials, and all five SSC specials preempted Scooby Doo.
WDCA is the Washington, DC areas channel 20. It became DCs UPN affiliate in 1995. As far as I have heard, the channel is now My 20, part of My Network TV.
WTTG is DCs channel 5. It became our Fox affiliate in 1986.
WDVM is channel 9, and DCs CBS
affiliate, although now its known as WUSA. It became WUSA in 1986, but when
this tape was recorded, it was known as WDVM.
What do the Call Letters Stand For?
WDCA: Washington District of Columbia Area
WTTG: Thomas Tolivier Goldsmith (WTTGs chief engineer in 1947)
WDVM: District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland
WUSA: United States of America
and W USA Today
